Those flowers on Dr. White's Table? They're Anemones, white Anemones.

Nov '09 to June '10 ...

It's been... My, 7 months already? Looking at the first page vs the current, I am very aware of the style change. This wasn't very intentional though, it just kinda changed as I kept drawing xD;

The changes:

• Less saturated red linework - Easier on the eyes.
  
• Still yellow/orange, but more depth and variety in colour scheme (I used to only use one colour for shadows)
• More flexible to draw different types of expressions. Sometimes I found it hard to draw the face I wanted with the old one.
  
• Mickey's character himself also changed the style -- Soft round shapes didn't really fit his seriousness lol so more sharper lines were introduced. He looks a bit older now, too
  
• Cleaner, simpler, smoother look - This also helps with the efficiency of my coloring.
• Dr White looks more handsome
• Mickey's nose won't stay still
  

This is my very first proper attempt at making a comic, and so I keep learning something new every time I make a page. I'm at the stage where I'm trying to settle down on the style now, but it may be a while till it really stays consistent ;;;

Toaster thumbs

So it seems I'll be drawing a Mickey and Toaster for my "Thank you" picture! so I drew these little thumbnails quickly (in class) the other day... I think i shall be going with thumbnail #2. :]

Something I drew round the same time I drew that 25 green chickys page (this was one of the sketches I was choosing from before I started coloring.)

Although I liked it, Mickey in a suit with a bunch of chicky balloons seemed too much at that time.
